Our customer, a fashion designer here in Vegas, came to us with a sample of the fabric he has been using to create some of his clothes. He wanted his Audi A6 to tie in with his marketing plan and draw attention as well as be an interesting piece for photo shoots. We saw an opportunity to take our skills to the next level and give our customer a stunning piece of art. We scanned in the fabric and set about to create a base pattern by removing the purple holographic film and creating a seamless repeatable pattern. Our next hurdle was a to make sure the entire car lined up, including inside the door jams. After a lot of measurements and photos we had a picture perfect wrap. After wrapping the car with our seamless rainbow base pattern, we cut and applied the holographic purple film. The only film we could find that matched the customer’s fabric was a temporary foil film that isn’t meant for outdoor use. To combat this, we built a make-shift paint booth and sprayed the entire car with a brand new Spray On Clear Bra film. Once the wrap was completed, the windows and interior seemed a little too drab, so we tinted the windows purple and wrapped all the wood grain on the dash and door panels. The final result is an eye catching attention magnet.
